Nokia 6600 Full Format – format your symbian phone

Nokia 6600 Full Format – format your symbian phone

A. Blank screen phone unable to boot-up.

B. Phone is only able to boot-up to “Nokia” screen (may flash “Nokia” 4 times also).
C. Install a program but unable to uninstall it.
D. Unable to delete certain files on C drive. WARNING: This will ERASE EVERYTHING on your phone
If you have any files that are important to you, make backups.

1. Make sure you phone is fully charged.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).
3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.
4. Press and hold these three keys together
-Green dial key,
-Star key (*)
-Three key (3)
then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
DO NOT let go the three keys until you see the “formatting” screen displayed
5. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your 6600 will now be at its original factory settings.Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for anything that happens to your phone as a result of following my guide. Use this guide at your own discretion and risk.

    Dear, I am facing the problem of Blank Screen, in the sense that after switching on ,nothing is displayed on the screen. It is totally blank. Phone boots up and and i can recieve the call , but i cant see anything on the screen. I can dial the number without seeing it on the screen. What to do?

    hai i am nokia 6600 in that camera is not working when i take snap means its showing temporary overload error message and when i open gallery its take soo much off time to open but video is working and other application r also not opening and blue tooth and infrared is also not working when i open real player its showing no data but songs are their in mmc but the mmc capacity is 64mb and its also having less memory i formated the phone and mmc card soo many times by pressing the 3keys but its not wrking when i switch on my mobile at that time when i take a snap means only 1snap is coming and if i take 2 one means same error so please please kindly solve my problem as soon as possible and id honey4530@yahoo.com thanks

    in 6600,it can also be done by *#7370#.it will ask for the security code which is 12345 by default.remember to take a back up in ur MMC,or u will loose ur messages and contacts.perform this at ur own risk….
